Welcome!
Hello, and thanks for coming by. There isn't much here yet, but this is the place where you will be able to follow Donna's progress and/or leave her a message. Check back often for updates.
Hi Donna! I guess I have the privilage of being the first to wish you well on your blog. You are on the top of my prayer list. I hope everything goes well without any complications. You chose your focus verse well. Philipians 4:13 is one of my favorites and has goten me through some rough times as well.
I guess I get the priviledge of being the second blogger to let you know how continuously you are in my thoughts and daily prayers -Philippians is a wonderful book of the bible because one of my favorite scriptures is also in Phil. It was shared with Mom by Keith and she in turn shared it with me. It starts like this" Rejoice in the Lord-I will say it again REJOICE-be anxious for nothing-the Lord is near.... Donna if I have said this verse to myself one time I have said it a million-read the rest of it and be encouraged and remember BE ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING-I am so happy that we will have the opportunity to express our thoughts to you throught this blog-you are so much in my heart and I pray for you every SINGLE day- I love you dearly and will believe for a complete healing-in the name of Jesus
Hi Everyone! This is a Donna Update on Sunday October 26...I just talked to Donna and she has had a busy week. Was at Duke on Thursday for pre-admission testing while all went very well by all accounts. She has been given 3 potential "start" dates, Nov 3, 10 or 17 -- all Mondays. Will be traveling back to Duke on Thursday Oct 30 for addl testing, and may get more info then.
She is aware her donor is a young man, but knows nothing else about him and probably will not know any more. We praise God for this young man's willingness to donate. We also praise God for everyone's prayers that have been heard and God has provided strength and support in so many ways.
Donna will be back in Roanoke tomorrow to receive platelets, should come home tomorrow night. We will keep you all posted during the next few weeks. Our love to everyone!
aHi Donna Just wanted to let you know we are praying that all goes smoothly and you come thru fine. We will miss you and Joel at thanksgiving celebration. Will be in our prayers . Love the dvd's you chose. Take care and hang in there You can make it thru this. Love you bunches. Uncle Lew and Aunt D in Tn
