There isn't a whole lot to report today, just that Donna sends her love and says she is "hanging tough!" One more day of radiation!!

Hebrews 10:23
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.

  1. Donna....I got this note from my "sister from another mother" Cynde from Pittsburgh...but, don't hold that against her. I love her anyway even though she thinks her Steelers are the bomb. LOL Anyway, I wanted to post this note from her here so when you are feeling up to it and check your comments you will see this.

    From Cynde:
Been following Donna's progress each day and it's so encouraging! I called Janell a couple of days ago to let her know how Donna was doing (she doesn't have a computer) and she said she's smiling because she remembers that feeling of tired and the only thought in her head was, "sleep is good!" I wanted to tell Donna about Janell ~ how when Donna was facing this horrid disease the first time, that Janell was going through much the same thing only with her second round of ovarian cancer...and how Janell truly felt that God had put them together for a reason (through us) to make it through together. She told me the other night something I didn't know...that there were times she was ready to give up and the thing that got her through was thinking "Donna didn't give up, I can't either." I, of course, burst into tears! Janell is the one that said "Donna can do this" when I first told her Donna was facing her second go-round. She also said, when I read to her what's been going on with Donna's treatment, "they're doing it right, they're doing it smart, they're doing it with God." Janell is still cancer-free and she sends her love, prayers and faith, along with mine, that Donna is being healed for good as we speak.

    Love ya!

  3. Hey Donna! I have been going around here and at the church today, wishing I knew how you are doing. Well, Kathy, look at the donnashappenings! So, Here I am, and I'm very thankful to read you are doing alright....a lot better than what/how I figured you probably were. Thank you God!

Several people around here have asked how you are, and I can now tell them you are doing okay. Still got your mind sounding positive, thank YOU for that. Don't let it get you down, keep your spirit and think about how this is gonna soon be a wonder. You're gonna be doing great....complete remission.
Still wonder if you'll still be 5 days, or 5 years. I think you know exactly what I mean!

I love you so very much
    K.
