How Great Is Our God!!

Donna's throat is much better...Praise God! She is still having trouble swallowing, but not so much pain. She has been for a walk around the floor, to the treadmill and sat up in the chair for quite a while this morning...also had a shower. Very busy morning. Her doctor told her today that she is "at the bottom" and the general concensus is she should start to feel better each day now. Only one chemo "shot" left and they think that is next Tuesday.

Thanks to everyone for the prayers. God has heard and blessed Donna with some much needed relief.

  1. That's great news!!! One more shot and you can start growing hair again, that is unless Joel has become razor happy!

  2. Donna - We had a lovely Christmas party here tonight with a great turnout. I am sure that the ladies responded to your heartfelt invitation when we were at the restaurant last month. WE MISSED YOU!!! When you return to our fold, we will all get together again and tell you all the silly things that were said and done. Seriously, we continue to pray for you and Joel and are paving your road to recovery with fervent prayers.

  3. Oh, Donna! I am so glad to hear that your throat feels so much better today. You won't believe how many people stopped me in my choir last night and asked about you by name. They are praying, I know. I have not called because I know you have NOT felt like talking. So, I've missed talking to you terribly. But, I want you to know that not too many minutes go by in the day that you're not of my mind...and in my heart. Feel better soon. Praying that each day will get a little better. And hey....with all that working out you're doing on the treadmill...you'll be the buffest bone marrow transplant patient they've ever had. Keep it up, Girlfriend.
    Love ya and Miss you!

  7. To Lorelei:
I'm Donna's oldest sister Janet (although I should clarify SHE's the oldest one, I'm #2)...anyway I'm the one that gets to spend Christmas there!! and I'm so excited. I'm taking our Mom down Christmas Day and I'll be sure to get some pics for everyone. We're really hoping that Donna gets released to the clinic while we are there! Merry Christmas to you and yours, in His Love, Donna's family.
