God Is So Good!

Donna is having a really good day. She was able to eat some eggs this morning. She says she feels like a new person today. Dr. Sullivan told her she is doing extremely well. She will still have some challenges over the next two weeks as there is some post-transplant chemo treatment to ward off the host vs graft, and the radiation she already received might still cause some fatigue for another week or two. Otherwise all is going very well!

  2. "The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song." Psalm 28:7

"Praise the Lord! Oh my soul, and all that is within me. Bless his Holy name."

"Great is Thy faithfulness!Great is Thy faithfulness! Morning by morning, new mercies I see. All I have needed Thy hand hath provided; Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me."

Sorry about that....had to break out in song! Praising the Lord for the good updates we have received this morning. Think about you so much through the course of a day. Hoping you have a restful day. Will call you sometime. Hang in there!

    Love ya,

  3. OK...I know I'm the one who posts these blogs, but I still can't help but come here to "visit" with you. I look through those pictures of you and want to be there with you so bad, but duty calls. After we get through the tree performances you can just bet I am going to be high tailing it to NC to see my sis, "Big D." And you can tell "Jim" that is ALL TRUE! LOL Sending hugs and lots of prayers for him also. What a champ he is being through all this. (Phew! That took a lot outta me to say 2 things nice about him...I better go rest now! lol)

I love you bunches and bunches. Keep up the good work with recovery.

  4. What WONDERFUL news!!!!! Thanks so much to ladies that have been keeping us updated on Donna's progress. It really helps to be able to "stay in touch" with what's going on and Donna's progress.

Donna you have been in our thoughts and prayers so much this week. Can you believe what an AWESOME GOD we have!!! It sounds like things are going very well, and I know that your faith has played such a large roll in this. We will miss you on Sunday as we sing praises to our awesome Father. It just won't be the same without you. Thinking of you and sending many hugs and kisses your way.

    Love,
    Marlene
