Short Update
I'm not quite sure what to tell you all about Donna's condition right now, except to say that she is very serious and she needs prayer now like she's never had before. The best I can tell you is that the doctors say her condition is "touch and go." We're all on our knees here, and I trust you are too.

I normally do not get on my knees when I pray-I pray standing up or sitting. Tonight, I got down on my knees. Sherry
ReplyDeleteHi Donna and family. My name is Sherri Udall. My 10 year old daughter went through BMT at City of Hope on January 8th of this year so I have a good idea what you are up against. Waiting for those new, precious donor cells to appear seamed to take forever, but as if by some miracle, they certainly did and she is healthy and cancer free with NO GvHD.I am praying for the same for you. I am asking for peace for your family, wisdom for your doctors, that you stay infection free so that the new cells have a fighting chance and complete success for the new cells in the new year.
ReplyDeleteIf you visit our carepage at www.carepages.com and type in karaginudall in the name box, you can go back and read all about our journey. We left for City of Hope one year ago today. She started radiation on New Years Eve and got her new cells on the 8th. They released us from the hospital to stay in an apartment on the hospital grounds just in time for Easter and we got to come home for her birthday on April 7th. God is so faithful. This road you are on is long and hard. At times you may feel like giving up, but remember that God has a hope and a future for you. Hang in there honey. Believe in the One that believes in you. Sherri Udall
What can anyone say except, I'm praying for you and know God is watching over you. You have always had such strong faith so keep hanging in there.
