Sunday 12/21
They have determined the source of the infection is in Donna's Hickman catheter. That came out this morning and they will replace with what we think will be 2 IV lines or another type catheter that will go into her arm. The doctor told her they expect a pretty quick improvement once the Hickman is out. As of this morning, the fever was being kept in the 100 range with Tylenol. Donna still wasn't feeling great but definitely an improvement over Saturday.

Donna,
ReplyDeleteYou have been through so much but you remain faithful and strong. You are an example for those of us who complain about the least little thing and take too much for granted. I am glad to hear all the good news and expect to continue to hear that you are recovering nicely. God is strengthening your testimony and it will have an impact on all who meet you. God promised in Hebrews 13:5, "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." Also 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting the whole of your cares - all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all - on Him; for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully. We pray that you will get stronger each day. Enjoy the holiday with your family. We send a big hug and our love. Merry Christmas.
Love, Mike and Sue

ReplyDeleteI am sorry to hear that you are facing yet another challenge in your recovery. Sometimes our biggest victories come after we have walked through our deepest valleys. Hang onto the thought that we are staying in faith and you are being covered with a daily prayer covering. Jesus hears all of these prayers and he is faithful to go to the ends of the earth with us. I pray that you will have a Blessed Christmas Day with your loved ones around you and just keep focused on the brighter days that are coming your way-I love you dearly-Sherry
