Answered Prayer!!
Jan just called to say that after initially being told no by ICU that they have reconsidered and are now going to move Donna to ICU. This doesn't guarantee a improvement in Donna's condition, but we feel she will be able to get some relief from her mental state there! God is so good and we praise Him for answered prayers, big and small.

ReplyDeleteDear God, please be with Donna, her family, the Doctors and Nurses as they really need you right now. Help bring healing and peace that is desperately needed. Be with the medical staff to help fulfill your will. YOU are an awesome God, please help us understand your will. Amen
ReplyDeleteFather, we come humbly before Your Throne of Grace and ask for a hand of mercy upon Donna and her family. We thank you Lord for Your promises and Your faithfulness to us. I ask right now for a healing touch for Donna, peace for her mind and body, rest for her weary soul, time to heal. I ask You Father for comfort for her family, peace in the storm and wisdom for the Doctors who treat her. Wrap this family one and all in Your loving arms Lord. I ask this in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Donna!!!! I am a fellow believer in our Lord Jesus Christ and have been friends with Donna several years. I am also a critical care nurse of over 12 years. As we start 09 let me share a couple of things. 1. Donna has lived the last couple of years based on Psalms 91. Praise the Lord for her life as an example to us all! 2. I live my live and base my nursing practice completely on several verses of Scripture. On Donna and her family's behalf, believe agree with me standing on Mark, chapter 11, verse 24. Jesus states whatever you ask for when you pray, AND BELIEVE, believe that you will receive them. 3. Believe and pray based on Galatians chapter 3, verse 13--Jesus hung on a cross and took away ALL our curses and sins. 4. 1 Peter, chapter 2, verse 24 Donna, by the stripes of Jesus--you WERE healed.
ReplyDeleteWe love you all, you are all in our thoughts and petitions to God! Be blessed! I beg you to continue supporting Donna's faith. Amen.
Anonymous- Antioch is praying for you and your family. You were my first thought as I awoke this morning, you were in my thoughts as I worked yesterday and the day before-all the time. Your strong faith and courage in face of your condition are unbelievable-- enviable in fact. I have latched onto Proverbs 3:5,6 as a verse that has powerful meaning to me. "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths." When mama had a hysterectomy at the age of 90 she was saying this verse as she went to surgery. My understanding of this surgery at her age was bleak at best but she made it through and lived to be 92. This has been a powerful scripture to me ever since when I start figuring out my understandings of various problems I have confronted. I will continue to keep all of you and the medical staff in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteThank God from whom all blessings flow. We are so glad that he is in control. Praise God that Donna came back from the brink. We are lifting her up each day
